Basant Panchami is celebrated in the month of spring i.e in between january and february. The festival indicates the end of winter. In Basant Panchami people worship Goddess Saraswati and wear yellow colour dress. In some places people also eat yellow color traditional food. Basant Panchami also marks the beginning of baithaks.
